Vintage Camera Show Call for Entries – DEADLINE 9/20/25

September 20, 2025 is the last day for Submissions for Oct. 25 Vintage Camera Show at the Altadena Library.

​The Altadena Photographers Recovery invites submissions for our upcoming Vintage Camera Show & Pop-Up Exhibition, a community event highlighting the resilience and creativity of our community after the Eaton and Palisades Fires. We are seeking work that celebrates analogue photography and the spirit of renewal.

Submission Criteria: Work must be created using film, vintage cameras, or alternative photographic processes (cyanotype, tintype, Polaroid, darkroom prints, etc.).

Subject matter should connect to life in Altadena/Palisades after the fires—images of recovery, resilience, renewal, or community stories. Black & white and color works welcome. Open to professional and emerging photographers.

Altadena Photographers is sponsoring the High School Scholarship for Eaton Fire Survivors to support graduating seniors impacted by the Eaton Fire who may be pursuing careers in the arts at a college or trade school with an interest in visual art, including photography.

We believe in the power of creativity to heal and rebuild, and this scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to the next generation of visual storytellers and makers.

Please submit your application, teacher recommendation, and a three-piece portfolio to be considered for this award. The award is $250.00
